Who We Are
Born in 2014 as a determined voice for African business, we emerged from the belief that our communities—both here in America and across the ocean—deserve more than survival; they deserve connection, dignity, and global opportunity. Reintroduced in 2019 with a broader vision and a bolder name, GABA now stands at the intersection of legacy and innovation, linking the streets of Detroit to the markets of Dakar. We are builders of bridges—digital, economic, and human—lifting voices too often left behind, and planting seeds of prosperity that stretch across generations. In every partnership, in every bold step forward, we carry with us a single truth: the future of the African world is not just waiting to be written—it’s already in motion, and GABA is helping lead the way.
Our Mission
We protect African and Caribbean communities by ensuring that work and home remain within reach.
Our Vision
A world where African and Caribbean communities in the U.S. are rooted in stability — with work that sustains, homes that shelter, and communities that thrive for generations to come.
Our Values
Support with Purpose
We show up for our communities with intention, care, and consistency. We meet people where they are and build systems that respond to real needs — not assumptions. We are here for the long haul.
Connection that Matters
We center trust, belonging, and shared understanding. Whether partnering with families, funders, or organizations, we lead with transparency, listen deeply, and build together.
Solutions that Last
We embrace practical innovation — ideas that not only inspire but work. We balance bold thinking with grounded action to drive change that lasts for generations.
