  • Yes. Walk-ins are not accepted for consular services. You must pre-register and confirm your appointment in advance.

  • The $50 non-refundable registration fee covers the costs of organizing the event, including venue rental, staffing, and logistical coordination. Without this fee, consular services would not be available locally, and attendees would need to travel to New York.

  • We understand this concern, and we are committed to ensuring this event takes place as planned. If for any reason the event is canceled, we will work with the consulate to reschedule or provide alternative options.

  • If your documents are incomplete, the consulate may not be able to process your request. We strongly encourage you to review all requirements in advance to avoid any delays. You can check the full list of required documents here:

  • The event will be held in Michigan, allowing you to complete your consular services without needing to travel to New York. Specific location details will be provided upon confirmation of your appointment.

  • The Consulate General will offer services including:

    • Passport Renewals

    • Visa Processing

    • Emergency Travel Certificates (ETC)

    • National Identification Number (NIN) Enrollment

  • Once you complete your registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with details on your appointment and required documents.

  • You absolutely can. However, this event brings consular services directly to Michigan, saving you the cost and time of traveling. For many, the convenience of handling everything locally is worth it.

  • While the Consulate General is responsible for processing all applications, The GABA Foundation will assist with follow-ups and troubleshooting. If you experience a delay, you can reach out to us, and we will help connect you with the right consular contacts.

  • Due to limited availability, appointments cannot be rescheduled once confirmed. If you miss your appointment, you may need to wait for the next consular service event.
