Step 1: Intake Form Submission

The journey begins with entrepreneurs completing the GABAWorks International Intake Form, where they provide key details about their business, goals, and readiness to expand into the U.S. market. This initial step helps us understand the unique needs and aspirations of each applicant.

Step 2: Team Review and Follow-Up Conversation

After the intake form is submitted, our team conducts a thorough review of the application. Qualified applicants are invited to a one-on-one conversation with the GABAWorks International team. This conversation allows us to explore the entrepreneur’s vision, business operations, and readiness for U.S. expansion, while also answering any questions about the program.

Step 3: Approval or Denial Decision

Based on the intake form and follow-up conversation, the GABAWorks International team determines whether the applicant is a good fit for the program.

  • Approved Applicants: Entrepreneurs who are selected for the program receive a formal Welcome Letter, detailing the next steps, program timeline, and expectations.

  • Unapproved Applicants: Entrepreneurs who are not selected receive a Denial Letter, which includes constructive feedback and recommendations for other resources or opportunities.

Step 4: Program Participation

Approved participants begin the GABAWorks International Program, which includes:

  • Tailored Technical Assistance: Personalized support to help entrepreneurs refine their business model and prepare for U.S. market entry.

  • Workshops and Learning Modules: Focused sessions on scaling globally, understanding U.S. business regulations, and navigating the complexities of cross-border operations.

  • Strategic Guidance: One-on-one coaching to create actionable strategies for expanding into the U.S. market, including financial planning, market research, and compliance.

  • Resource Connection: Networking with industry leaders, funders, and U.S.-based business experts to provide critical resources and partnerships.

This phase equips entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to confidently scale their businesses internationally.

Step 5: Support in Setting Up a U.S.-Based Business

As the culmination of the program, participants gain direct support in establishing a U.S.-based business through the GABAWorks International network. This includes:

  • Assistance with business registration, legal compliance, and tax considerations.

  • Guidance on identifying strategic locations and market opportunities.

  • Access to funding and partnership opportunities to ensure a strong U.S. launch.

  • Personalized support to help navigate the transition into the U.S. business ecosystem.
